Arguably, fathers probably get a more polished celebration on Father's day because Mom is there to help the kids with the planning and execution of plans. For a lot of families, Mom is the one who schedules and plans everything for the family, so Mother's day is for dad's to help out with. Of course, this isn't true for a lot of families too; some families are opposite, while others are even for both mom and dad!
