Nanny in Newmarket, Ontario

I am currently a 5th year university student, studying Child & Youth Studies as well as Concurrent Education. I will graduate with my BA/BEd in April this year. I live in Newmarket for the summer. My experience with children is extensive! I have been a nanny for the last three years. In summer 2014 I worked with 3 boys (ages 4, 5 & 9 years) and in summer 2015 and 2016 I worked with a 2 kids (age 3 and 10 months), so I have experiences with many age groups. In addition to that, I have worked as a camp counselor, a tutor, I have volunteered in countless classrooms, and babysat for many years. Among other traits, I would consider myself helpful, hardworking, trustworthy and energetic. I have a clear understanding of the balance between learning and having fun and my university degree has provided me with a strong background regarding children. My experiences working with children have given me plenty of background knowledge and fun ideas to do with children, and my educational background has taught me the importance of teaching children while they are young. I am also CPR & First Aid certified and also have a police check. My other interests include playing hockey, sailing and photography. I can start working with your family in early May and work until Labor Day weekend (beginning of September). I am flexible with hours and I am happy to work around your schedule.
