Hi I love children and have 2 boys myself who are now university age. I felt privileged to stay home while our boys were small and again felt lucky to get work in the field I love ... working with children once they reached school age. I believe every child thrives from having one on one attention when they need it and believe in building independence and security through play. I haven't met a child that I didn't connect with. I feel I have a lot to offer and truly believe our children are our most precious assets and they deserve the best child care. My friends and family have told me I am like a child whisperer ... I take this as a compliment and can honestly say every child I have had the pleasure of working with has given me much joy. Children are the best judge of people and they know when you genuinely care about them. I care about children and enjoy working with them more than anything. I have taken courses in the importance of eating well and believe we owe it to our children to offer them healthy food for their growing bodies and also understand the importance of getting exercise. I enjoy introducing children to helping in the kitchen and around the house with small jobs when very young with increased involvement as the grow. I would respect the parents/guardians guidelines and would always want to work for a family that I could be partners with in caring for their child/children. I would never take a job unless we were all on the same page on what is important for the child. Safety is my first guideline and happiness and fun are always right up there with fairness guiding me.
