- About me: I have a heart for children and I am passionate about helping them grow and learn. I am calm, caring, and empathetic. I am a competent cook and baker, I enjoy art and music, and I like to be outdoor in nature. I'm good with animals/ pets too. - Qualifications: I have a Bachelor of Education specializing in Kindergarten to Grade 6 (4 to 11 year olds). I have experience with 12 to 17 year olds (Grade 7 to 12) as I teach elementary students from JK up to grade 8. I've taught children with learning disabilities and ADHD, and I've volunteered in a day program for young adults with cerebral palsy and complex needs. For over 6 years, I've volunteered or worked at children summer camps. I also have a Bachelor of Music. - Work experience: I have been teaching at private Christian schools for 3 years and I briefly worked at a childcare center with infants (12 months old) and 3 year olds.
