Nanny in Newmarket, Ontario

Hello, My name is Tara Murphy and I'm a 27 year old female student, training to become a coast guard paramedic. I was into aquatics all of my life, and have even performed the successful rescue of a child. I've been a nanny and a bartender for the past 8 years so I can pay for my school and training. I did a co-op program in high school spending half my school day at an elementary school assisting in the grade 1 classroom. I've also done volunteer work for The Wye Marsh environmental centre, where I guided children on tours of the marsh in the Summer. I also did 'wet 'n scaly' educational programs for children, where I would teach them about reptiles and amphibians. I am a great candidate because I care about your children and their time is a value to me. I'll take them outside to get fresh air, play interactive games with them and keep them engaged and entertained. In effect, I don't just watch over them. I interact with them and encourage learning and developmental activity. I'll also clean up after them and am happy to prepare their meals. I recognize that not all situations are the same and so if there's other tasks needed I understand and love to help! So that might include picking up groceries before I come, doing the laundry, helping kids with homework or suchlike. I have my license and am working on purchasing me own vehicle. But I can always walk to go pick your kids up from school, take them to any appointments or after school programs. Days would include of lots of singing, book readings with silly sound effects provided by me, painting, colouring, dress up, and lots of learning along the way. Adventures would be endless and days would be filled full of laughter and fun. I have a lot of training and knowledge in the medical field. I took the Specialist High Skills Major for Health and Wellness, and because of this I have obtained the highest level of CPR. It's First Aid and CPR training level C, so I'm trained with AED and Defibrillator. I'm trained on resuscitation and the Heimlich maneuver for all ages including newborns, and up to a full grown adults. I also have my bandage compression and disease prevention certificates.
