I am a fun, goofy, enthusiastic, educated, confident, caring, loving, relationship-focussed university graduate looking to return to school to obtain my BEd after working for some time with children again. I am excited to meet your children and have a great time learning and growing with them! I became Red Cross (Alberta) babysitter certified at age 11 and babysat for children throughout my teenage years. This included families of up to 3 children that I babysat for weekly and long term. In my teenage years I also worked for the local church daycare. Throughout high school I coached soccer teams including kids under age 5 and between the ages of 14 and 16. During one summer of my undergrad I operated a free drop-in arts/crafts and recreation program for low income families/at risk children with the City of Edmonton. The children were between the ages of 2 and 14 and I was responsible for watching up to 10 at a time. I received an extensive 20 hour training session on recreation programming before taking on the position. I have a degree in criminology and psychology, therefore, I am very well educated in regards to developmental theory.
