Growing up I had 2 younger brothers (one who is currently 17 and the other who is 11) and I also have a 7 month old son. When I was younger I started working as a camp counselor at a horse back riding camp in haliburton. I did this for many summers. I also have been working as a snowboard instructor for the past 3 winters, mainly working with children from the ages of 3-16. I was also promoted this past winter to Kids Korral supervisor at Horseshoe Valley resort. This meant I was in charge of all the instructors and assistants as well as all their students. Last summer I worked as a part time babysitter while I was pregnant, taking care of two children ages 10 and 6 1/2. My duties included light housekeeping/house duties, getting the kids on and off the bus during school year, watching children while parents were at work during the summer, providing the children with healthy meals and snacks, taking the kids to the beach to swim, entertaining the kids.
