Hi! My name is Lida and I am a 21-year-old undergraduate student. I have 8 years of babysitting experience (infant-12 years old), held a Teacher's Assistant position for 2 years working with students who have mental/physical disabilities, and 2 years of camp counseling experience leading children ages 5-13. In addition, I have 5 years of customer service experience through food handling, serving, (head) bartender, and maintenance and grew up with 3 younger siblings that I have babysat and tutored. Looking after children requires a lot of energy and attention to detail, but I enjoy it wholeheartedly. During my role as a camp counselor, we had a "camper of the week" program where the child who displayed the most enthusiasm, co-operativeness, growth, kindness, and leadership was recognized by the whole camp, and this past summer, 7/9 times, it was a camper from my group. I truly love to see children excel and meet them in areas where I can support their growth. Despite the differences in the roles I have obtained, my leadership, multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and co-operativeness skills have always remained similar and have only grown stronger. My personal hobbies include reading, writing, exploring nature, arts & crafts, and staying active. I am available part-time, preferably on weekdays but I can be flexible. I have a police background check that was just done this past July as well as my CPR First Aid. Upon request, I can provide references from any of the aforementioned roles I have had.
