As this economy continues to dwindle into a state of employment emergency, I wish to provide positive, structured and entertaining care for children who\'s parents need to work full and part time jobs. I have seen how hard it is to keep a family atmosphere going, while trying to maintain a sustainable living. I have seen the cost of childcare and in some cases the quality of provincial childcare centers and I know how expensive it can be for parents. I also know that a nanny provides the one on one care children need, but that a lot of daycare cannot provide I have completed several college placements in a range of settings. Volunteered at day cares, social institutions and Elementary Schools. I have been Rec-Leisure Counselor, E.C.E. Assistant, Educational Assistant. Ages of children range from 6month old to school age children. Long term babysitter for one family; two boys, ages 4 & 6. Bathing, feeding, facilitating learning, positive problem solving techniques. At the schools, behaviour management techniques were employed, as well as assisted with literacy development. Have worked with behavioural children and children with learning disabilities.
