Hello I'm Catherine, I'm a 25 year old Early Childhood Education graduate. I recently took some time off from childcare to help take care of my own family but am excited to get back to the field. I helped to take care of young children for families in the community all throughout my high school years. I entered the workforce and had customer service related job for a number of years until I realized something was missing. I realized that I wasn't following my passion and that my passion was working with children. This is when I returned to school to get my Early Childhood Education diploma, I graduated with distinction last May. I then worked at a childcare centre for 11 months when I had to take a couple months off to help my family. Now that I am returning the field I have decided to look for employment working with 1 young family where I can spend more one on one time with your children. My training in early childhood has given me the knowledge and skills to help your children develop. I have a passion for helping children learn through exploring nature and the world around them. I speak mainly English but I do also speak a bit of French. I am able to prepare and cook nutritious snacks and meals for your children. I am also able to complete light housekeeping duties and help to take care of any pets your family has. I possess a Vulnerable Sector Check, Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, and Food Handlers Certificate. This means that I am ready to safely take care of your children.
