Hello everyone! I'm Yasmin, I'm 28, and I live in downtown Toronto. I define myself as a global citizen because I have friends and family in Brazil, Italy, India, Spain, and Tunisia. I love education and I dream of being able to become a professional educator or social worker. I have a BA in Intercultural Communication and a Masters in Human Rights and International Cooperation. I strongly believe in the values of empathy and compassion. I am very attentive to people and respect their cultures and personalities. I have several years of experience as a babysitter in 2 families, both are still part of my life. I am a very polite, empathetic person, and I love playing and laughing with children. I have three sisters (32, 14, and 10 years old) and they are the most important people in my life, along with my mom. I strongly believe in the importance of family (all types of families!). Being an older sister has allowed me to stay up to date on the interests of young people. During the lockdown in Italy, I took care of the online schooling of both my sisters. Now I also have two little nieces, the best gift in my life! (I have a valid Open Work Permit and I work from 8-16 as a Customer Service Officer. I am available afternoons, weekends and evenings).
