Nanny in Guelph, Ontario

I am a third year Concurrent Education student and I love working with kids! In my program I am working towards becoming an elementary school teacher in which I take various classes on child and youth and how to work with children aged 2-14 years old. In addition, I have previous experience working with kids from the age 14. I was a babysitter for 5 years and I still do some babysitting work. As well I have experience as a camp counselor in which I have experience working with children aged 5-12. In this position I learned how to facilitate summer activities with children and look after and engage large groups of children. In addition to being a camp counselor I have extensive experience working with kids from the many placements I have participated in during my schooling. I have knowledge of academic learning activities that are also fun to do with children. As well, I have had practice in a role model position with my students in which I know how to balance being a leader but also having fun with them. I am trained in First Aid and CPR and have valid police checks. Lastly, I am a very outgoing, enthusiastic and positive role model. Working with kids is a passion of mine and as a nanny I would work hard in ensuring the safety and engagement of all children.
