Hello, my name is Ratsamee (Aom) Duangkham. I have worked as an Aupair/live-in nanny for almost 8 years in the U.S. I took care of two boys and two sweet dogs while I was a live-in nanny. The boys were 3 and 6 years old when I first arrived. While in the US, I studied business and accounting at a community college. In Thailand, I earned Professional Teaching Certification in addition to my bachelor degree in Biotechnology. Currently, I am in Bangkok. I would like to work in Canada as a full-time nanny with a family that has a good sense of humor and treat everyone with respect. If your family loves good food and care for environment, we would be a good match! I do need a sponsor for Home Child Care Provider Pilot program but I have prepared all required documents. I am comfortable with teaching manners and chores to the kids, crafting, playing sports and games, caring for family pets, and meal preparation especially Thai food. I like outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking and volunteering. I am flexible with my schedule.

Ratsamee was a wonderful caregiver and worked for our family for about eight years since the time my youngest child was three years old. She is an incredibly energetic and responsible person. Our children love her and we still keep in touch with her to this day. We had many nannies prior to Ratsamee but she was the best and, fortunately for us, she stayed with us for so many years. I highly recommend Ratsamee to be a caregiver for babies all the way to older children. She is extremely caring and thoughtful. She lived with us and got the kids ready for school, prepared breakfast and walked them to school when they were young. She also helped do some food shopping and made meals. Ratsamee made arrangements for the kids playdates and picked them up from school as needed. She took care of their laundry and helped to teach them to learn their chores and put things away. She loves dogs and took care of the dogs as well. In general, she was terrific and we would love to have her back in our lives if we could!

Ratsameee (Aom) was very patient and kind with my son. My son has a lot of energy and Aom would always be willing to take him outside to do something active and fun rather than letting him sit on electronics all day. She is responsible, caring and really understands kids.
