Nanny Job in Langford, British Columbia

We are looking for a loving and responsible nanny to take care of our sweet and energetic 4 year-old son. The core hours of this position are Monday to Friday 11am-5pm. The salary is based on a $17/hour wage. Major Responsibilities - Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for our child - Supervise the child's activities at all times - Plan and prepare meals - Help him with getting dressed - Place the child down for naps and bedtime, when necessary - Perform housework related to child care, including washing the child's clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas etc. - Teach the child good social manners - Play with the child, both indoors and outdoors - Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children - Drive the child to and from activities Job Qualifications and Requirements - High school graduate - Experience caring for children - Training in early childhood education preferred - First aid training and child and infant CPR is an asset - English proficiency - Reliable, honest, and trustworthy - Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision - Able to allow some flexibility with hours
