I am from Manitoba but will be relocated to Abbotsford B.C. March 2021. I grew up the oldest of many cousins and have been around young kids my whole life. I played many sports growing up such as basketball, volleyball and baseball. I graduated in June of 2017 with a dual diploma in french and English. I am a hard working, attentive, loving nanny with a good attitude looking to assist in a home with young children. I have worked in childcare for 3 years and have plenty of experience taking care of children. I currently am nannying for a family with an infant and 6 year old child. I have worked with all age groups ranging from infant to school age. In selecting me to be your nanny I will provide a positive environment for your children, any housekeeping duties that may be needed, and meal preparation in your home. I’m looking for a family with young children that I enjoy spending time with and being apart of their growth and development.

Sydney truly loves our kids from the bottom of her heart. She’s like a big kid in some ways and she loves playing with both of my kids. She’s creative and always finds new and fun things for the kids to do. She keeps them active no matter what the weather is like outside, from swimming, going to the beach, the zoo, skating, sledding, bike rides, fishing, long walks, etc. She helped our daughter during remote learning in 2020, and she had more patience with her than my wife and I combined. She’s not all fun and games though. She knows when to lay out consequences and teaches our kids when their behaviour is not acceptable. She’s been a huge help around the house too and helped organize the kids clothes and toys. If we could keep her forever, I think we would. I've known Sydney for years! She was one of my "kids" at daycare, and then later became a valued "coworker"! She is so great with kids of all ages, and is well loved by so many children and staff that have known her over the years! Whether it is getting outside and running about, or calmly sitting with a puzzle or a book , she really plays and engages with children she is looking after. Sydney has been a huge blessing in our lives. She is a hard worker, is dependable and patient, and has a great easy going personality. Her greatest quality is how much she genuinely loves children. Being a nanny is more than just a job to her. She cares about the well-being and development of my kids. Sydney understands early years development and used her experience to help nurture and guide my little humans as they grew.
