I was raised in a large family; the only girl amongst seven brothers, and both of my parents worked. The responsibility of running a household fell on my shoulders at a very young age. Truthfully, as a teenager, I thought that I was going to grow up and marry rich man and never cook or clean again. There is a saying that, "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans." I know this to be true. I worked in the corporate world off and on for 20 years and hated it, so I became an Entrepreneur and started my own business. In 1999, I answered an ad for a doctor and his wife, And spent 13 years as their private chef along with doing some light housekeeping. I absolutely loved it. In 2002, I took on their elderly parents as clients, and it was then that I found my purpose. I have never looked back.
