Hello my name is Larissa. Personal Profile: I am a hardworking child and home care provider who can't wait to help your family! Location: I am located in the Central part of Keswick but am also willing to travel to nearby cities. I grew up here which means I know the area well and would be able to take kids for walks to nearby parks easily. My expertise: First of all, I have a heart for kids and helping them grow and develop. I am incredibly comfortable with childcare as I was the director of a daycare program at my camp one summer and have also had a fair share of babysitting and nanny opportunities in the community. I also teach private swimming lessons every summer to kids of all ages which has taught me a lot about how to work with different personalities. I also love to clean, organize and do laundry and am always willing to help with that! Availability: I am looking for a full time positon, live-in or out starting September 2023. My house would be Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm, but I am willing to adjust if needed. Additional Care: I am a certified lifeguard, swim instructor, and first aid instructor which means that I am willing and able to supervise or teach (at an additional cost) your children lessons over the summer months. I am also qualified to assist with any first aid incidents that may need attention. Education: I graduated high school with honours, SHSM (Specialized High Skills Major in Arts & Culture), and a diploma as a major in the music program. I took a year off after school to work full time with The Town of Newmarket as a lifeguard and swim instructor in order to save money and figure out what I wanted to do for school. I completed a first year adventure and leadership program which took place in BC and had professors for classes flown out from a college in Saskatchewan from 2019-202.... I have recently graduated from Tyndale University with my Bachelor of Religious Education and am considering pursing my Bachelor of Education to teach primary ages.
