Hi there! My name is Jes, and I live in Abbotsford. I'm passionate about helping to raise happy and healthy children. In fact, I think and read about child development more than most parents I know! During 2011-201..., I took care of two toddlers: twin boys, aged 2-3. I have a Class 5 driver's license, my own vehicle, and a clean driving record. I'm also in the midst of renewing relevant certifications, such as First Aid and CPR-C and Food Safe. I have a degree in peace and conflict studies, have taken coursework in nutrition and psychology, and spent my first two years of college studying visual arts, specializing in photography. What does that mean for your children? Healthy meals, fun activities that help them learn and grow, and non-violent approaches to conflict resolution, plus the occasional high-quality photograph for you to keep. :) Why am I looking for a nanny job today? After building a successful tech marketing career, I realized that I don't enjoy being glued to a desk and decided to return to the last job I loved (and the most important job on earth): taking care of children! I'm looking for $25/hour in compensation, either for one family with 2-3 children or two or more families comfortable with a nanny share arrangement. Of course, I'm happy to do meal prep, light housework, and pet care in addition to childcare.
