Hi. My name is Yona . I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario and I am now attending Dalhousie University for a BSc in Psychology and a minor in health studies. I come from a family of four, that being my parents and my older brother. All my job and volunteer experiences have been related to the care of children. Not only do I have many years of babysitting experience but, I have also volunteered at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario for 2 years and I worked at an After School Program as a counsellor for a year. These jobs have taught be new skills, the valuableness of giving back, and how to approach and deal with people since I have been exposed to a variety of kids, parents, etc. So a little bit about me. I have a very bubbly and extroverted personality and I enjoy being in the outdoors especially on a nice day which gives me an excuse to read, I have recently taken up drawing and I have a huge interest in music and instruments; I used to play the piano and flute when I was younger, I love going to museums and galleries - just a way to become more knowledgable.
