Hello everyone! I am currently in my second year at Trent University, I am enrolled in a double major Bachelor’s degree program in Women & Gender Studies and Indigenous Studies. I am currently am registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators, I received my diploma from Georgian College in 2016. I have a bright, bubbly personality, very easy going and able to adjust to your family schedule; currently only have class on Wednesdays with everything else online, so I am mostly available all week/weekends. I have various experience working with children 0 – 12 years of age, which included doing field placements at the YMCA Lions Oval Daycare, Westridge Early Education Centre, the Orillia Native Women’s Group, and in general helping raise different family members while growing up. I carry experience working with at risk youth, ages 13-29 years of age. I am a certified SafeTALK Trainer ( Alertness for Everyone) where I deliver 3 hour workshops to discuss , how to identify the signs, and most importantly where to direct people for help. So that’s a little bit about me, so I do carry CPR certification, and Safe Food Handlers Certification. I have no problem at all with doing housework, I don’t mind animals I love them dearly, I am very flexible in what needs to be done at home and with the children. I do have my own transportation, and I am able to use my car to get different tasks done in a timely manner.
