Dear Family, I am very interested in the Babysitter position available. By being Bachelor in Nursing, I have worked as a coordinator of Health Projects in my city’s Health Department, in Brazil, from 2013 to 2016. I specialized in Elderly Health and did an extra practical course of Elderly Caregiver, both in 2014 as you can see in my resume. Even though my last courses have been related to the elderly care, all of them only reinforced my nursing degree and made me more prepared to take care of any kind of patient, including kids. In addition, as requiried in the job offer, I may do all the basic activities of the house such as keeping it cleaned up and safe, doing the laundry and preparing some healthy food as well. As a Practitioner Nurse employed in a private hospital in 2011, I was responsible to different patients, a nursing staff and to keep the hospital in good conditions with all the necessary supllies. Due to this, I became able to think quickly in delicate situations, observe important details related to the patients’ safety, follow all the doctor’s recommendations and maintain a comfortable and enjoyable environment to them. In addition, I had practical experiences with kids as intern during my nursing degree. In these experiences, I could play with kids, give them shower, feed them, dressing and having their medicines in proper schedules. In my last employment, I could give lectures related to healthy food, oral health, bullying and other diseases to kids and teenagers in public schools. I could also help many of them to have appointments with doctors. And most important, I could listen to them a lot, understand better their emotions, expectations and capacities.
