Nanny in North Vancouver, British Columbia

I am Keira and I live in beautiful Lynn Valley in North Vancouver. I am originally from Nelson B.C. I am an active person and spend most of my spare time doing yoga, hiking or camping. I also have a university diploma in Sign Language if that is something you are interested in your baby/child learning. I am currently nannying a 7 month old baby 3 days a week, and looking to fill my Tuesdays and Fridays. I have countless years of experience as my mom is a midwife so I have grown up around babies and have been caring for some clients for as long as 4 or 5 years. I also have a 10 year old sister that I have been caring for regularly since the day she was born. Previous to the 2 families I am with now I was looking after a 6.5 month old baby also here in north van. Before that I lived in Australia as an au pair, where I was working for a family with a 1 and 2 year old and extended my 6 month contract with them to 9 months to stay longer. I have been looking after two little girls, aged 3 and 4 mon - fri (then picking up 2 siblings from school and caring for them as well for a few hours.) We spend our days out of the house, out and about doing various activities. We often go to local play groups with friends in the mornings and then spend our afternoons outside. I have a no screens rule, so I like to keep busy and active. I often take my little ones to the beach for walks and to find crabs or to the river to stack rocks and also on lots of walks, as I have 2 small and very friendly dogs that love the occasional walk with us. I have a huge cache of knowledge of all the playgroups and activities offered around North Vancouver and also all the parks, pools , trails etc. I have my first aid and a clean criminal record as well as a totally clean driving record. I drive a very safe Ford Explorer SUV. I have worked as a camp counsellor at a local summer camp for the last 5 summers living there for 9 weeks at a time so have a plethora of craft ideas, songs to sing, games to play and activities to do outside in nature. I am vegan and plant based but don't mind handling and/or serving meat/dairy and have lots of healthy and delicious lunch and snack ideas and am comfortable cooking larger meals. I can provide wonderful reference if needed and please reach out if you have any questions at all. *I am available to start mid September **I am planning a 3 weeks vacation starting around Christmas Boxing Day going into January. So either looking for short term until my trip start or a family that can accommodate my holiday.
