Nanny Jobs in Côte-des-Neiges – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Quebec seeking full time availability including criminal record check

We are looking for a full-time live-out nanny to provide a safe, caring, structured, and stimulating environment for our daughter (6), son (14), and little cat (1). The position would be 5 days per week, generally from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend babysitting if possible, as well as availability to travel with the family a few times per year. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and teenagers, is proactive, organized, reliable, and interested in becoming a long-term part of our family. Main Duties and Responsibilities • Preparing school lunches and snacks • Planning and preparing healthy family meals • Helping maintain after-school routines (snacks, bath, playtime) • Ensuring children are prepared and organized for school and activities • Assisting the youngest child with homework, reading, and educational activities • Bringing our daughter to and from school, sports, activities, and classes, when needed • Encouraging independence, responsibility, and good routines • Organizing children’s belongings, school materials, backpacks, sports equipment, and clothing • Tidying daughter’s bedroom, and common spaces • Doing laundry and helping keep household organization running smoothly • Maintaining the home clean, organized, and tidy on a daily basis • Performing general household cleaning once per week • Feeding and caring for the family cat, including cleaning and maintaining the litter box • Supporting healthy habits, discipline, and respectful behavior • Planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities for the youngest child • Running occasional errands and helping with household tasks • Supervising children when parents are working or traveling • Occasionally accompanying the family on trips or weekends away Education and Experience • Previous experience working with school-aged children and/or teenagers • References required • First Aid and CPR certification preferred • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record preferred • Ability to speak either French or English (bilingual is an asset) and Spanish • Background in childcare, education, child development, tutoring, or family assistance is considered an asset Key Skills and Competencies • Warm, caring, and nurturing personality • Organized and proactive • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability • Ability to multitask and manage busy family schedules • Emotionally mature and calm under pressure • Good judgment and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills • Punctual and dependable • Flexible and adaptable • Energetic and positive attitude • Enjoys cooking and maintaining an organized environment • Comfortable balancing the needs of both a young child and a teenager Please text us to discuss further.
