My name is Shaidea Walker and I am a 17 year old high school student searching for a summer job very persistently. I\'ve been working with/taking care of young children since I was 10. My mother has cancer and needs help with my two younger brothers (14 and 6 years old) often; but not nearly as much I she used to. Both of my brothers have special needs and one of them has severe low functioning Autism. I also have 2 stepbrothers who are 9 and 2 years old. Out of my four brothers, I\'d say I spend the most time with my 2 year old one. I go on walks with him, take him to parks, read and play with him at home. My step parents tell me he says my almost unpronounceable name when I\'m not there which is exciting because he\'s just learning to talk! From September 2014 to January 2015 I was an educational assistant at Mary Johnston Secondary school, working with kindergartners to grade 3\'s. It was an amazing experience for me, and I was able to work with a young girl who had just moved here from another country. We worked on ESL booklets and activities together practically every day.
