Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

My name is Olivia Thom, I am a 22yr old part time student currently working part time as a Receptionist in a busy salon. I would be interested in nannying 3 to 4 days a week for the time being. Over the years I have had a lot of experience caring for young children in a private family residence, a day care, and family members of my own. I am a very patient, understanding, and logical person who finds it easy to connect on a personal level with all individuals. I find great satisfaction in watching young children learn and grow through fun learning activities that I can help them with. It is something that I believe to be so gratifying. Currently I am taking Business Administration studies at school where I have learned many skills in communicating with various types of the public. While I enjoy business my other passions are nutrition, fitness, cooking, and being outdoors. During high school I was a volunteer in the "Little Spartans" day care for the teacher's of Claremont school's children. My duties were to prep snacks, entertain with excursions outdoors, story telling, art, and learning activities. Since the age of 13 I have had various positions baby sitting on call for various families with children of all ages. After high school I worked as a nanny for a family of 4 where I was in charge of a 3yr old little girl during the older children's school hours. During school hours my duties were prepping meals, learning activities, outdoor activities, going to the library, settling her down for nap time, and general housekeeping. After school I was in charge of the older children also by picking them up from school, assisting with home work, prepping snacks and meals, and more general house keeping.
