My background as recreation therapist, Montessori teacher, Early Childhood educator, bilingual student support person as well as volunteer experience has provide with skills essential to caring for children . Services And Training I have have experience as a Montessori educator and worked as a preschool teacher for 3 years with children 15 months to 6 years old. Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning while children discover their natural desire to learn the world around them. The five key areas of learning in the Montessori environment include; Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics and Culture. I’d be happy to prepare a various related activities for your children to strengthen their skills and further their learning inquiries. I have worked in the school board for 2 years, with children in jk-grade 8. I have knowledge of the French immersion program and am eager to help those learn a second language!
