I'm an
Individual
Hello ? I hope you’re having a good day! My name is Tamires, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Brazil. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. Currently, I’m living in the United States. I consider myself a flexible, responsible, careful, patient, energetic, lovely and polite person. I graduated in Business Administration in Brazil and this degree made me build a responsible career in my country but I also learned how to manage busy or difficult days and I’m always on time, never late. I already worked as an Au pair in the United States for 2 years. I have lived with 2 awesome host families. In my first year as an Au Pair, I lived in Indiana with the Watts family and I helped them with their sweet little girls Mia and Clara (3 and 6 years old). In my second year as an Au Pair, I moved to Virginia and helped Palmer family to take care of Allie and Caroline (9 and 13 years old). Working as an Au Pair, gave me the chance to get more experience taking care of kids, to deal with different kind of schedules also to be used to work far away from home and be more flexible. In both families, I was responsible to prepare meals, drive the kids to school and to do activities with them and help with homework. I also did laundry, and help with some light housekeeping, groceries, help with their pets. I can say for sure that I had wonderful times working as an Au pair for these families and making the kids having an amazing and safe time every single day. I would like to let you know that I have CPR training and First Aid. Nowadays, I work as a Mothers helper for the Urcia family helping take care of their triplets 2.5 years old (Georgia, Oscar and Davis) but when I started to work with them, They were around 18 months old. I also have a couple of families that I help on the weekends or date nights (I have one family with 2 kids - Abgail 5 weeks old and Andrew 3 years old, another family with 3 boys - David/ Johnny and Otto - 10-8 and 4 years old). Before I became an Au Pair, I already had 3 years of experience taking care of kids. I love interacting with children. I helped my cousin and my friends watching their children for a certain period and I also volunteer at the church to take care of the kids, doing activities and telling them about the Bible while their parents were attending the worship. I would love to connect with you, know more about your family and your expectations. If you are interested in my profile, please send me a message via this website or by e-mail: [email protected] and I'll reply right away. Best wishes. Tami!

Tamires worked as an au pair for my two daughters (now 11 and 15). SHE IS THE BEST. Any family would be lucky to have her. She is responsible, smart, easy going, happy to help out in any way, adventurous, and so happy. Most importantly, my girls LOVE her. It’s amazing to find a caregiver who the parents love and the children adore. The greatest endorsement I can give is that when I asked about finding our next au pair, my younger daughter replied that she wanted to find someone ‘just like Tami’! Tami is a good, safe, driver. She is never late for anything, helpful around the house (in addition to the specific duties required of the au pair), and generally very easy to be around. She smiles easily and has a way of getting my kids to want to cooperate, without ever yelling at them.

Tamires S is an amazing nanny! She was our au pair for a year, and she was a joy to have. She works hard, played with the children, prepared meals, and drove them to and from school & activities. She is energetic and upbeat, responsible, and organized. She also helped with laundry and kept the toys tidy. She would be a great asset to any family!

Tamires has been helping to take care of our BGB (Boy Girl Boy) triplets since they were about 19 months old (they are a little over 2.5 years old now). She works as a "mothers helper" for us helping us chase our kids around (i.e. my husband or I are always around when she is helping us). She works in the morning until nap time 4-5 days per week with us. She helps us take them to the doctors, playground, grocery shopping, the library, and anywhere else where we plan to go for the day. She must be blessed with a lot of patience as it takes us about 30 minutes just to get out the door (whether in the stroller or in the car). In the last month or so she has also been helping us with a little preschool curriculum that we started at home - reading more theme focused books to them, doing some crafts, and performing some learning activities. She is great and the kids definitely realize who is boss when she is around (with some of our other nannies they consider them more like play buddies). She is very cautious and always looking out for their safety (which is always our number one concern).Sometimes we will leave her with the kids for 30 minutes or so while we run a quick errand and she is great help on date night. She is very trustworthy and has had a great amount of experience with kids all ages. Sometimes I think I am learning a bit from her on how to raise our kiddos. She has great strategies on how to calm our kids down when they are having a tantrum or a bad day (which is almost everyday). If our kids were a bit older, I would definitely have her look after them all by herself (but they are just a bit too much for anyone at this age). She has also been very reliable and always on time. We would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is great at engaging our kids and directing them to the next activity and just teaching them about life (i.e. let's not play with our food, let's do this instead). Our kids were also seeing physical and speech therapists while Tamires was with us and she was great at helping us carry out the therapist's suggestions throughout the kids' day. We are going to miss her when she leaves!

Tamires has been watching our sons regularly for a few months and they always ask when they will see her next. She is very caring while also very dependable and responsible. We highly recommend her!
