Dear parent: I am a mature women looking to be hired as a nanny! I am the oldest of 8 children, who grew up in a very modest home where creativity was our Godsend! I believe that children are like miniature adults who need continuous mental stimulation consisting of learning in a fun way that speaks to the child involved. Physical activity is also an extremely important part of the development of all of us as human beings and of course including children of every age. I feel that if the child cannot walk, it is great to take them outdoors even though since what our grandparents said about the value of fresh air, in my mind still holds true!
