Nanny in Burnaby, British Columbia

While I finish my degree at BCIT this is the perfect job for me. I love being around kids and helping care for them comes naturally to me :) I cannot think of a better way to spend my time while working, and parents need a break or some help here and there! Growing up my mother ran a daycare out of our home. Since then, caring for children has always come naturally to me. I have experience caring for children of all ages. At family and social gatherings I can be found in the kitchen with the kids. I enjoy their company and love keeping them engaged with age appropriate duties. I have also been the primary babysitter for my four year old nephew. I also volunteered for two years at RTES (Richmond Therapeutic Equestrian Society) where I worked with Special Needs children and professionals. I must say I gained a lot of experience through challenging situations. This was very satisfying work for me to help children through therapeutic horse riding. Simply put, I can do the following: -prepare healthy meals and snacks -keep kids engaged during playtime -bath time and preparing for bed -change diapers -remain calm and collected in stressful situations
