Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

I'm a first year student at Carleton University enrolled the Child Studies honors program. I've been working with children since I was in grade 4 (9 years old), until graduating grade 8, helping in the kindergarten class(Jr. & Sr.), preparing note totes, entertained the children, helped students complete their school work, dressing the children in outdoor clothing for recess & lunch monitor. I have baby sat neighbours children. This past summer I worked at Camp Merrywood - Easter Seals camp for youth ages 6-27 as a counsellor, helped with all personal care (Showering, feeding, toileting, lifting/transferring, brushing hair, brushing teeth, etc.), assisting campers go to programs and helped them complete the program when they needed help. I got asked to go back to Merrywood for an extra week for Family Camp, so I assisted families with all there children, aged 4 months to 12 years old. I learned a lot of skills working at Merrywood, and look forward to using them in the future. I enjoy working with children and have experience with many different age groups.
