My name is Kailey Swaving, and I am interested in supporting you in caring for your children! I am extremely energetic and have experience working with children of all ages and individual needs. I would love to hear from you in order to discuss how my experience in both the special needs care environment and home care environment could be essential to the care of your children! From a professional standpoint, I am currently working with special needs youth in both a group home environment as well as in a classroom environment. At the home, I provide life skills support as well as help with housekeeping duties. In the classroom on-site, I am a Behavioral Support Assistant in an one-to-one environment for an Autistic youth. Throughout high school I provided support to teachers of a local elementary school both inside the classroom and also as a mentor. I have years of experience in providing regular childcare for a family of five children. In a more personal capacity, I am a middle child of eight, and have six neices and nephews. My family means the world to me! Being from a large family makes me fully comfortable with all ages and the different needs of each age group. It also has equipped me with certain skills such as laundry and cooking. I am not easily flustered or overwhelmed; when it comes to being busy, I am in my element!
