I have a great deal of experience working with children, and have always naturally excelled at it. I am fun loving, caring, outgoing, athletic and well educated on childhood development. During my work as an Instructor Therapist I taught children all academic and social skills, and have a great deal of experience teaching skills through the use of positive reinforcement and task analysis. I have had a great deal of experience working with children (both typically and non typically developing) in many different settings, and with a variety of needs. I have worked for the YMCA in a before and after school program, I worked in the Autism room at Extend-A-Family summer camp, 6 months as a private IBI instructor for a boy with Autism, and I recently finished a contract of just under a year working as an Instructor Therapist in Belleville's Autism Intervention Program. I have done everything from organizing events, games, and activities, to teaching all the social, academic and motor skills required for a child with autism to best catch up with the basic abilities of his typically developing peer. I have worked with children spanning the ages of 4 to 18 years old.
