At twelve years old, I began caring for multiple families in my neighbourhood. At age fifteen, I began working at an indoor playground, where I worked camps, birthday parties, and drop in care, for children ages two to seven. For four summers, 2011-201..., I worked at an overnight camp as a cabin leader and job coach to girls, ages eleven to thirteen, and adults who were both typically developing and with exceptionalities, such as Down syndrome and autism. Between September 2012 to June 2013, I taught karate to children ages three to thirteen. In September 2013 I began a Child and Youth Studies at Brock University and graduated in April of 2017. For three years I volunteered at a children's centre in the Niagara Region in preschool and recreation programs with children of all ages and varying exceptionalities. For three years, 2015-201..., I worked at a caregiver in the summers and on and off throughout the school year to a eight year old with Down syndrome. In September 2017 I began a Masters of Occupational Therapy degree at Queens University.
