I am kind, patient and loving. I truly love working with kids! I love watching them explore the world and ever increase their understanding. I am intelligent, hard working, loyal, honest, responsible and reliable. I have many years experience working with children of all ages, and I love the challenge that comes with working with kids! I have over 10 years of child care experience. I have cared for children of all ages (newborn to age 14) and have nannied large families (5 children). Most of my nanny positions have included child care, meal prep, light house work, laundry and running errands. I am completely comfortable with doing such activities. Additionally, I just completed an Honours degree in psychology at UVic. My research focus was on the cognitive development of children. I absolutely love working with kids and I am very loving and patient. I am the second eldest of 4 children (younger siblings are quite a bit younger) so working with kids has been a part of my life for the majority of my life. I really like to engage with the children when I nanny and I like to play with them or take them out for activities (i.e. swimming, to the park etc). I am a strong swimmer and I have completed all levels of swimming lessons (by age 10) as well as all swimming related first aid courses.
