Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

I am currently enrolled in the University of Victoria's Music Education program on my way to become a music educator in the public school system. I love working with children and have a passion for sharing my knowledge and creativity. I am compassionate, energetic and responsible. I have been a babysitter and nanny for 5 years now, working with 2 children now ages 5 and 8, and another two children ages 5 and 7. I have taught piano lessons to students and have worked with students in beginning band workshops. I was a leader in training in the Pines Bible Camp program and I have many leadership skills. I love music, kayaking, the outdoors and creative projects such as arts and crafts. Over last summer I was a nanny for two boys, 5 and 7, who are in foster-care. I played games with them, read stories, cooked, took them kayaking and took them to the playground/ pool. I helped/ taught the older one with school-work and helped both with motor skills. I was a mentor and counselor for them as well. I handled many emotionally challenging situations and have been the best example I can be.
