Nanny in London, Ontario

I am a hard-working, dedicated employee who has been working with children since I was 14. I grew up in the Salvation Army and as I grew older I took on the responsibilities of leading many youth activities. I have moved around a lot and have just recently moved back to London. I attended the University of Western Ontario for 3 years from 2006-200... and then moved out to Los Angeles after that and then my work visa expired. While there, i obtained my American Red Cross first aid certificate as well as CPR and AED certification, also Californian food safety certification. I also was a lifeguard for 3 years, however my certification is out of date for that. I have come back to London to work towards my bachelor's degree and to cut costs while I do so. I currently work in retail and am looking for a change. I am very friendly and approachable and am looking forward to working in a position that is more suited to my personality. I have worked for Salvation Army summer camps for 8 years. 3 of those years were at a leadership level, which included handling the deeper issues that our counsellors could not deal with. The 5 years before I became a leader I was a counsellor and a kitchen worker and my responsibilities included cooking for over 100 children and staff members, cleaning up after each meal, planning and organizing activities for over 100 children, supervising those activities, lifeguarding during swimming hours, handling all health concerns and providing the appropriate treatment or response and responding to any other situation that may arise over the course of the day.
