Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Welcome! My name is Jessica and I am seeking a part-time summer position. I have over 18 years experience working as a babysitter/summer nanny, turned into overnight camp director, and Montessori assistant for 5 years. I've recently started my own business, and seeking a childcare position as supplemental income. I've worked directly with children of all ages, with a focus on children aged 1 to 6 years old. As a classroom assistant, our main focus is independence and following the child's interests and environment. I love spending time outdoors with children, reaching out into the community for resources, creating interactive learning opportunities, putting together simple to complex craft projects, spending time in the kitchen, and seeking new ways to inspire children. Ultimately, my passion is to help families with young children. I love knitting, baking, painting, riding my bike, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I graduated with a BA in Arts 6 years ago at the University of Ottawa and moved to Toronto 5 years ago, I love the city and everything it has to offer, but ultimately return to the country whenever I can.
