I am an Enthusiastic 22-year-old looking for part-time or occasional opportunities for childcare. I have extensive experience in childcare including tutoring, children with special needs and groups of children up to 6. My previous work opportunities have been with Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and the Toronto District School Board. Where I developed a love and passion towards working with children but also a unique and diverse skill set for my age. Unless requested by parents I try to stay away from screen time because there are so many other things that we could be doing. Specifically, I was trained in 'play therapy' at Bloorview while it was meant to be applied to patients, I have found it incredibly helpful for typically developing children as well. I am currently in a program to become an Educational Assistant where I am gaining further opportunities to work with children and youth with exceptionalities.
