Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi everyone :) I am an energetic, artistic person who loves to do crafts and spend time outside. I have been surrounded with kids my entire life, from family members, to little gymnasts I coached throughout high school, to the school-age children I work with now as a volunteer at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. I am looking for a part-time position this summer to help pay for school and would love the chance to interact and play with some lovely children. In part because they are incredibly fun and also as I would eventually love to develop community-based art programs for children as a career in Victoria. Kids are so imaginative and enthusiastic that hanging out with them is always an inspiring experience. I hope I can have the chance to make your life easier and make your children\'s summer one to be remembered! I have been surrounded by children my whole life; having two little sisters and numerous younger cousins there was never a shortage of babysitting income. I taught gymnastics from toddlers up to the ages of 14 and I now participate in a program called Galleries in Schools with the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria in which we bring artwork into elementary school classrooms (grades 1-4) and work with the children doing visual analysis and artwork.
