Hi, My name is Amanda. I have always enjoyed working with children, caring for them in a variety of settings.This love of helping children has pushed me to attend Douglas College and take a Classroom and Community Support program so I can one day work with children who have special needs. I always try and make sure that the children are having fun throughout the day with new activities and learning experiences. I have always enjoyed working with children, having many child care jobs in the past, both with family members and others. Also, being the oldest of three children, I have always had younger children to depend on me. I have worked with children ages range from newborn to 13 yrs old. These jobs required me to ensure child safety, meal prep, general duties and make sure the children are happy and entertained.Currently I am attending Douglas College taking a Classroom and Community Support program so I can one day work with children who have special needs.
