Hello, my name is Erica and I\'m a student at the University of British Columbia. Originally, I am from the High Park area in Toronto where I reside during the summer. Having grown up near the park, I love spending time outdoors whether it be kicking a soccer ball or having a picnic. While I like most sports, I have a strong interest in basketball and rugby (having played both competitively). Aside from sports, I enjoy reading, travelling, volunteering and baking (red velvet cupcakes are my favourite!). This past August I volunteered at an orphanage for abandoned and abused children in Honduras. My group was responsible for planning activities for children aged 4 to 12 in addition to teaching English to two classes. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the students who in turn had fun helping me with my Spanish. Currently, I am on exchange at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I am an avid traveller and enjoy discovering new customs and traditions. So far, I have explored most of Scotland and England in addition to other European Countries such as France, Germany and Sweden. I am a kind, enthusiastic, adventurous and easy going young women who loves to laugh and enjoy each day. Hopefully I can make a great match for your family!
