Hello! My name is Amanda, I am 20 years old and am currently a student at the University of Western Ontario. In the summers I come home to live in Toronto and Oakville, and am available to babysit all over the GTA, as I have my own vehicle. I am currently studying in the Honours Music Education program at Western, and am qualified to teach children in piano, voice, and ukulele. I have had experience babysitting throughout my teen years with both boys and girls of various ages. I adore children, and since I am practicing to become an educator, am happy and eager to teach them in any areas I am able to! I am also extremely active, and am happy to go to the park, kick around a soccer ball, or play basketball for hours. I have been going to yoga nearly every day for over two years, and can also do yoga with children who want to learn! Last year, I travelled to Thailand to work in art and music therapy with a number of different groups of children, some of which, included children with complex disabilities. I have become extremely comfortable working particularly with children with down syndrome, and am confident I could adapt to most children\'s needs with some guidance. Feeding them lunch, playing games with them, teaching them to play instruments, keeping them calm and happy based on their specific needs (worked with children with down syndrome and cerebral palsy)
