Nanny in Mississauga, Ontario

Hi, there! I am a fully qualified caregiver/support worker who has graduated from the Developmental Services Worker diploma program at Humber Program. I currently work as a support assistant with the organization Community Living Mississauga part time. So aside from this job, I am available part time particularly during the weekdays anytime, including overnight if necessary! Aside from my current employment, I have worked as a part time caregiver for a lovely family who had a daughter diagnosed with an intellectual disability, was born medically fragile, but had a very bubbly personality! Apart from occasional nanny jobs here and there over the years. During my program, I did two placements and two internships. I worked as a student teacher with a kindergarten class, a support staff within a high school segregated classroom, a support staff in an adult 24HR group home, as well as a support staff supporting grades 1 up to 3. While attending the DSW program at Humber, I was also hired on as a DSW peer tutor with the college to tutor first, second year, and accelerated students within my program. Speaking of tutoring, I previously tutored kids ages 4 up to 11 with language arts, mathematics, and computer applications. While I was in high school (grade 11/12), I tutored students up to age 21 within the segregated classroom after school for computer applications, language arts, and improving fine motor skills. I am fully certified with level C CPR, standard first aid, and AED training, CPI and safe management training (two separate certificates), and am certified in administrating medications with a Pharmacology certificate. I have a valid G driver's license and a vehicle available! I also have a recent police criminal record and vulnerable sectors screening check.
