I am a healthy female woman. Divorced with 2 grown children. I have spent the last 9 years working in India for 3 months every year working with a volunteer organization working with village children. I have worked as a teacher in village schools, a large boys orphanage, a disabled children's school and a day care worker for underprivileged children. A lot of the work is mostly arts and crafts and games , but it also includes learning basic English and math. I have the greatest reward watching these kids grow and learn. Having been a mother myself I am very familiar with sibling dynamics etc. I am only looking for part time work as I am semi retired and bring silver jewelry and block printed linens from India and sell them at the Penticton Saturday Market to make money to return to India every winter. I know this may not fit your long term needs but I am just putting it out there. I also love the beach! I live close to the beach and I also have a pool at my townhouse and like to spend time there. I think the reason I love kids so much is their pure and honest hearts. Maybe I'm still just a kid, but I love to observe the way they see the world. I can cook and do all the Mom things..
