Hi families! I am a loving and reliable childcare-provider in the Beaches area, and once my current contract ends I'm open to part-time or full-time work with flexible hours. Please note that I only have temporary availability between August and November. I started my childcare career over 10 years ago, and since then have gained continuous experience mostly as a family nanny, but also as a daycare worker. I have experience with all age groups varying from newborn to school age kids. In my care your children are ensured to have a safe, developmentally supportive and interactive environment. My personality is considerate, calm and patient. I provide loving and nurturing care along with age-appropriate discipline, and support in educational and developmental goals: from learning to walk and talk, to getting dressed and doing schoolwork. Engaging your children to positive play and learning activities, including different outdoor -and indoor activities are included in days planned with me. I am also familiar with kosher style eating, so I can provide that for your children if needed. My educational background is in Psychology and Counselling, including studies in developmental psychology to support a more in-depth understanding of children's development. I currently provide full-time care for a (now) 18-month old toddler as well as my own 19-month old daughter based within my home that is set up to accommodate a safe and child friendly environment including individual nap rooms. Typically we come to the house only for lunch and nap, while focusing on activities outdoors or play centers. Looking to continue a similar arrangement with a new family around August -November, open to discussion if your preference is childcare located at your home.
