I started babysitting while I was still in grade school. I worked as a "clown/entertainer" for birthday parties in my young teens. I took a two year program entitled Children: Our Challenge through Sheridan College. I have worked both part time during my education as well as full time summers at several different day care programs. I volunteered at Sick Kids Hospital through their recreation department. During this time I worked both with groups of children in playrooms/craft area on specific wards as well as independently with children in isolation. I did placements at Halton Developmental Handicapped Centre/and school for the deaf while attending college. I have a real variety of experience working with both groups of children as well as one on one.
