Nanny in Timmins, Ontario

My name is Jena, I'm a 24 year old College student currently taking massage therapy at Northern College. I am the oldest of 11 cousins in a very tight knit family, I have been surrounded by children my whole life and I absolutely love them. I am energetic, creative and responsible. I have worked with children who have special needs in the past which has given me an advantage when it comes to having patience and communicating with children of all ages. I love spending time outdoors and especially in the water be it in a lake or a pool and I'm a huge believer in SUNSCREEN! It drives me nuts to see children glued to electronics and I have no issue taking them away and actually engaging children with singing, reading and new learning opportunities. I have a 2.5 year old niece and whenever she's around I'm sitting on the floor playing playdoh and chasing her around. We dance all the time and I involve her in any task I have, from making lunch and setting the table to doing laundry and hanging it on the clothes line. I enjoy being in the kitchen and when I'm with little ones I do my best to make healthy meals that are varied. Picnics are a favourite. I have a driver's license as well as first aid training. I couldn't imagine anything better than spending my summer with kids and making it their best summer ever. I look forward to speaking with you in either French or English.
