Hi there! I'm Dani, a 21-year-old, active female currently living in Waterloo, ON. I am honest, caring, polite and punctual and I have been working with children for years. I have 8 years experience working with a variety of mental health and special needs children -- I volunteered my time to coach a special needs hockey team. I have also grown up with my brother who has been diagnosed with a multitude of special needs since a young age including Tourette Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, ADD, Anger Management, etc. Additionally, I have worked as a summer camp counsellor with children ages 4-15. I was required to keep them entertained and perform various activities and crafts with them, as well as playing games outdoors. I have supervised pool use in the summer; I am confident in my swimming and lifesaving abilities, and I am fully CPR and First-Aid trained. I have been raised in a bilingual environment, speaking fluently in both French and English. I am a safe driver, fully licensed, and can safely transport your children to sports practices and other extra-curricular activities. Depending on your proximity to my house and the hours you would require my help, I would be able to drive to you. Live-in housing would be ideal for those who live farther. I will be fully committed to your family and to your children (or pets), and I will help around the house by making meals or meal-prepping and by doing household chores such as laundry, the dishes, and cleaning.
