Nanny Job in Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia

Hi there! I’m a nurse working daytime 8 hour shifts, within the time range of 5:45am-10pm (no overnights), and my partner works out of town. Ideally, we'll welcome a live-in full time Nanny to our home who is open to nanny share for one other child of family nearby. My lovely sons are 3.5 and 1.5 years old. I need help with drop off & pick up from daycare for my eldest, full time childcare for my youngest, and I also play sports some evenings. Job requires you have your own car and valid drivers license because of rural location. We have 2 cats (indoor/outdoor). We also have a puppy, so pet care is included in the job requirements. There is lots of hiking out off of the back of our 2 acre property, 2km to public lake access, 5km to the village. This job would be well-suited to someone who enjoys the outdoors. I strive to ensure our nanny has time & space to themselves to respect a balanced lifestyle. Services And Training: valid first aid & drivers license. This job will include helping with feeding, dressing, toileting, bathing, and transporting children. Help with laundry, cleaning, and food prep is also desired. Abilities: understand developmental stages of children in order to communicate with them appropriately, show initiative with proactive thinking, maintain a playful demeanour and show patience. Experience with children of the same age range is very valuable to me. Starting: within the week please. This job includes room and board.
