Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! We are a family in Calgary, Alberta looking for an experienced part-time nanny to care for our children before and after school. This candidate must be reliable, responsible, trustworthy and genuinely enjoys being around children. Job Details: • Live-out, part-time position • Approx. 20 hrs/week, with occasional modifications to the weekly hours for school PD days, stat and school holidays • Up to $25/hour depending on experience, and certifications (CPR, First Aid, ECE, degree or diploma) • Job duties are childcare focused and include dropping off and picking up the children from school, driving to after school activities, preparing snacks and engaging in age appropriate activities. • A safe, reliable vehicle in good working condition, along with valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract is necessary for this position, since it involves driving to and from school in colder months. Our ideal candidate would have the following skills, certifications, and experience: • A valid security screening including vulnerable sector clearance or be open to getting a security screening completed. • Experience working with children of primary school age and be able to engage them in fun and educational activities. Minimum 5 yrs experience. • Current and up to date CPR, First Aid, ECE Level 1 (minimum), driver's license, reliable vehicle and able to provide references from previous jobs. • Preference for someone looking for a stable long term part time position. • Daycare/Childcare facility experience is considered an asset.
